Movie Junkies Galore at the Globe Theater

Willy Wonka’s last Golden Ticket was handed out nearly 40 years ago, yet somehow the ticket ended up in new hands.

On Nov. 6, Profiles in History made the original Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory available to the public for the first time in years.

The ticket was part of an auction the company threw at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios to benefit Variety--The Children’s Charity of Southern California.

The Virginity Hit breaks the mold

     The Virginity Hit, the title immediately makes you think of clichéd teen movies and raunchy behavior.

      I knew what this movie was about before I even checked the plot summary, at least that’s what I thought. I had flashbacks to movies like American Pie, Sex Drive, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. What could this movie possibly have to offer that I had not seen a thousand times?

Inception Debuts at Number One

Christopher Nolan's new movie Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, debuted at number making over $62 million in it's first weekend at the box office. Despicable Me came in second this weekend, grossing over $118 million since it's debut. Toy Story 3 fell down to number 5, but has made an astonishing $363 million since June 18.

Adam Brody joins Scream 4

It has been confirmed that Adam Brody will be joining the cast of Scream 4.  Adam Brody signed on for the highly anticipated Scream 4, joining Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Lake Bell, as well as cast originals Neve Cambell, Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette. Brody will play "a cop recently graduated from college who was raised on the CSI TV series." According to HorrorMovies.ca the new plot will go as follows:

SIDNEY PRESCOTT has been living the last few years of her life in relative silence. Now a guidance counselor for Woodsboro High School, her alma mater, she finally lives her life out of the media spotlight.

But with the discovery of a murdered student, Sidney Prescott’s world will once again be ripped apart by the reemergence of Ghost Face.

The staff here at HTS will most likely watch this movie within its first week of release. I just hope it's better than Scream 3.
